The Amada LCG-3015 is a flying-optics style CO2 laser built on a helical rack and pinion drive system for both the X & Y Axes. The helical rack and pinion drive system is capable of faster acceleration and rapid transverse speeds than traditional rack and pinion systems, without the extra cost and maintenance of a linear drive system. The LCG CO2 series is equipped with an Amada/Fanuc 3500i-C resonator, designed specifically for this system to achieve similar cut quality as more powerful CO2 systems.
