Grinders

Designed for keeping turret press tooling sharp, these grinders come in two basic sizes with many options. The standard model comes with a magnetic chuck for holding the dies, and a 3-jaw chuck for holding the punches. A graduated handwheel in .001" increments provides for easy and precise adjustment for an excellent finish. The 3-jaw chuck can be replaced with a shear grind/quick change chuck. This special chuck allows for grinding rooftop shears up to 10 degrees. Quick-change adaptors can also be used in this chuck. These adaptors allow the tooling to be re-sharpened without removing spring packs, which saves valuable time. A coolant tank and pump is also offered as an option on some models, standard on others.

Two Sizes -for up to 5.0" and 6.3" Diameter Tooling Hunton precision vertical grinders are ideal for all popular CNC tooling, including Amada, Behrens, Finn Power, Murata-Wiedemann, Raskin, Rhodes, Strippit and Trumpf. New quick change chuck allows punch to be ground while assembled.

SHEAR GRIND QUICK CHANGE CHUCK
 
Holds assembled punches. Includes a master holder and set of punch holders.
Advise machine maker. Vee Block capacity is 2" Dia through hole. To use shear grind chuck as a quick change chuck, optional adapters are necessary.
